About Us:
I guess I was simply a knife fanatic. I have always been into
blades. I think I had my parents worried at some point that
something was wrong. But basically I wanted to obtain a WSK and just
could not find one. I could not even see one to hold on to it. I saw
a lot of pictures on the web and started drawing them. I had a head
full of design ideas. So after trying to chase down a knife, I gave
up. I got MAD.
Then I decided to build it and that's what happened.
I worked with a couple of close friends who were engineers and we
used Pro/ENGINEER software to create a 3D image and CAD drawing of
it. I had 4 prototypes made and due to the quality of the knife I
instantly had people asking me to make them one. So RED Scorpion Six
- Blades evolved and I made the decision to take this knife into
production.
We named it the "PREDATOR" because although a useful tool, this
knife is designed to enable the user to take down prey. So we have
gone forward with this ideology. We have many ideas and variations
but this design is true to the inspiration by the custom makers. I
have limited production to only 1000 of these knives. We have
manufactured them for 440C Stainless Steel with Rockwell hardness of
57-59. The handles are linen micarta. I made the decision to put in
hidden screw fasteners so the user can customize the handle scales
if they wish. The knife is 13" of pure PREDATOR intimidation. The
knife is well balanced right at the top of handle scales.
