In 1968 Tri-Tronics was born. Over the years we have
gone through much growth. We now have over 100 employees and
quite a few of them have been with the company a long, long
time. You see, there is a constant theme resonating throughout
Tri-Tronics: do what you love to do, do things right, make very
high quality products in America, and always take very good care
of your customers. It is this theme that has kept Tri-Tronics
the leader in electronic dog training products since the
very first remote training collar we built in 1968. It is
interesting to note that during the last 37 years 21 companies
have stepped up to the plate and so far 16 of them have struck
out. It is our commitment of very high quality and really
caring for our customers that has resulted in Tri-Tronics being
the chosen brand of winning handlers in all areas of dog
competition and the chosen brand for hunters and many casual
trainers.
We have been listening very carefully to our customers
about what features the ideal Remote Trainer should have. This
year we are excited to take Tri-Tronics to the next generation
with the introduction of G2. Our transmitter, "the tube," has
been around since Tri-Tronics started and has become an icon for
the company. It was not without a lot of thought, research and
testing that we decided to refine "the tube." The new smaller
and lighter G2 transmitter and receiver with many valuable new
features continues our legacy of providing our valued customers
with the quality and dependability they have come to know they
will get from Tri-Tronics.

Antenna
This completely redesigned antenna doesn’t stop with being 2”
shorter, sleeker and even more rugged than it was before. Its
new electrical design also has substantially enhanced range.
Waterproof & Lexan®
Not only is the G2 transmitter waterproof but it’s also made of
Lexan® – the same material used to make bulletproof products. If
you thought Tri-Tronics products were tough before, you’ll be
really impressed now.
Intensity Dial
All G2 products have the same number of stimulation levels as
their predecessors. The intensity dial has been redesigned and
positioned for easy one-handed operation. Whether you’re left or
right handed, a thumb or finger operator, the intensity dial
lets you watch your dog and react instantly to what he’s doing.
Grip
The rubberized grip area on the G2 transmitter provides a more
secure hold and allows for easier and faster manipulation of the
transmitter’s buttons and switches. The new ergonomic shape
makes the transmitter more comfortable to hold and fits all
sizes of hands.
Buttons and Toggles
All G2 Remote Trainers have the same great button feel,
arrangement and spacing you’ve become accustomed to. The toggle
switch is less likely to get snared and the tone button has a
new location on the back of the transmitter for quick and easy
access.
Battery Pack
The removable battery pack means you never have to cut your
training day short to recharge. Keep a spare in your pocket and
you can quickly replace the depleted battery. The battery pack
compartment is also waterproof so you don’t have to worry about
dropping it or getting it wet. The new battery life indicator
will tell you when it’s time to charge the batteries.
G2 Receiver
The new G2 receiver is 1/3 smaller and also made of Lexan®. It
has the same battery charging system as the transmitter –
including a removable waterproof battery pack and battery life
indicator. Also new to the receiver is an extra loop to keep the
collar strap snug to the receiver.
Charging System
This entirely new charging system is as convenient and simple as
it gets. There are no more plugs to lose or replace or holes to
get clogged with dirt and debris. The quick charge feature
allows you to fully charge your unit in just two hours. Leave it
on charge as long as you want with no damage to the batteries.
It’s totally worry free.
Accessory Beeper
Every G2 Field or G2 Pro Series product has the built-in
capability of remotely turning the Accessory Beeper on or off.
Simply set the intensity dial to the proper position and press
any button.
